The Outdoor Arts Portugal digital platform provides free dissemination space for all Portuguese professionals (national and legally resident) working in the field of performative artistic creation for public space and contemporary circus. After registration, artistic entities will be able to create a profile with public access (bilingual), share information about touring shows and disseminate news/events with a network of national and international professionals. After filling out the form on this page, you will receive an automatic email validating your email address. You must follow the instructions in that email to complete your registration.

Which entities can register?

Any professional entity (individual or collective) operating in the field of performative artistic creation for public space and contemporary circus can register. There are five types of profile: artist, creative space, festival, training and organization. An artist is understood to be the entity responsible for the creation and interpretation of works; by creative space any entity/space that provides conditions to support artistic creation; by festival any programming entity as a priority focus in these artistic domains, regardless of programming a festival, a showcase or a season; by training any professional entity with the mission of providing structural artistic and technical training in these artistic fields; per organization other entities with a mission of strategic sectorial support to the artistic activity in these domains (provision of technical or complementary services are excluded).

Does the use of the platform tools have any cost?

The platform is free of charge for professionals in the field of artistic creation for public space and contemporary circus. The platform's operating costs are guaranteed with support from the Portuguese Republic – Culture, through the Direção-Geral das Artes, ensuring universal access to artistic entities regardless of their financial condition. However, only profiles that comply with the previous question and the Outdoor Arts Portugal mission will be approved and published, namely the integrated sectoral promotion on an international scale of professional agents of performative artistic creation for the public space and contemporary circus. Profiles of amateur artistic entities or artists without a framework in the field of performing arts, including its multidisciplinary dimension, will not be published.

How to proceed with the registration in the case of mixed entities?

Each record on the platform assumes a unique typology (artist, creative space, festival, training or organization). In the case of a mixed entity - for example a creative entity that also organizes a festival or season - we suggest creating an artist profile for this purpose, where you can also create performance pages, and a festival profile for the schedule. The same formal entity may create more than one profile when justified by its activity.
