The present, the here and now, when sipping and enjoying the essence of the infusion. But, contrary to what was expected, peace does not happen. And the utopic calm of the tea opposes to the anxious situations and unforeseen events that arise from it - the water that never boils, tea that is never ready and the friend who never arrives.

Chá das Cinco pretend to be a circus performance that takes any space as a stage. It seeks interaction with audience of all ages.

It expresses throw circus, dance, music, clown, mime, handstanding, aerial and objects manipulation. We question how anything can work as a motor to be creative. How can we make a show with almost anything: a table and five chairs. It was designed to be minimalistic and to travel everywhere in an uncomplicated way.

A collective creation made by five different women. With five different energies, five personalities, five ways of being - although one has not yet arrived. A reflection about time relativity, the waiting and the ephemeral, that can bring us to extreme, ridiculous, animal and surreal situations. A proposal that explores sensibility. It inspires people to go simple, enjoying the elementary things of daily life.
