From December 8 to January 8, the Circo de Natal do Coliseu Porto Ageas returns to reinvent itself as the best artists and music played live, to show, before our eyes, what the circus arts are most fantastic.

On our side more jumps together the musical direction of the composer Ramón Galarza, the artistic direction of the clown Rui Paixão, the illusionism direction of the magician Mário Daniel and a cast of talented circus artists from various parts of the world.

In a scenario that makes a video game name or a cyberpunk desert, and what could be the children's version of “Mad Max”, we follow the story of a circus company on the run from the city, after several failed shows. Lost in the middle of the desert, we find a group of “randoms” who live isolated there, as they believe to be the only way to make their art and their beliefs exist.

Being in the company without destiny and the curious “randoms”, we propose to celebrate together with music, dance, magic, fire, juggling, clown, hair suspension, rolla balla, pine trees, diabolo, roda cyr and até a roda da morte. So it will be a Festa do Circo in the Coliseu!

Designed for all ages, the Circo de Natal 2022 shows, in a fun and uncompromising way, about seeking a place of belonging. A place of freedom where, regardless of the differences, what we are or what we want to be, we conquer a voice and a community. It is a reference to art, to free artistic expression and to culture as a very essential for the construction of this place.

In the end, will it be that the company decides not to desert or continues to procure the road to the city? We reveal this and much more from December 8 to January 8, with sessions at various times.
